REFUND POLICY
Clever Jobs is a woman-owned small business in Austin, Texas which sells access to online clearinghouses for niche jobs via subscription. Consumers of the intellectual products published by Clever Jobs are subscribers to one or more digital platforms owned and published by Clever Jobs. These subscribers’ access is maintained by PayPal’s subscription management platform. When users sign up for a subscription to CarolinaClever, Christine’s List, or other online products of Clever Jobs, they OPT IN to a recurring fee cycle that maintains their access.
Subscribers may cancel their subscription/fee cycle at any time without being obligated to future charges beyond the current term for which they have paid. After cancelation of their fee cycle on PayPal, their access to the product for which they subscribed will continue until the currently paid term has expired.
A convenient “STOP” button is provided on the JOIN page, right where users first signed up. This button takes the user to the spot inside their own PayPal account for canceling the billing agreement that keeps their subscription current. This is the only way to stop a fee cycle (aka “unsubscribe”).
A subscriber to CarolinaClever, Christine’s List or other online products of Clever Jobs is expected to take personal responsibility for managing their own subscription(s), according to their own inclination to start/stop the fee cycle that fuels each subscription.
Refunds are awarded at the company’s discretion. We give refunds for dissatisfaction, or if a subscription was initiated in error. Refunds are not typically awarded just because a subscriber forgot to cancel their fee cycle. If one's sign-up date is more than 7 days prior to one's request for a refund, a refund will not typically be awarded because there is a legal presumption that they have “consumed” the intellectual product to which they had access during that very adequate time period.
Occasionally, older browsers and operating systems will not smoothly run the upgraded and oft-maintained websites published by Clever Jobs. Additionally, some employers including government agencies may intentionally block employees’ access to job boards. Users are encouraged to browse from their personal device, rather than from a work device. Clever Jobs is not liable for access issues one may experience due to outdated browsers or hardware, or due to institutional barriers to accessing the website(s).
